Hello Empo (what's your real name?)!
Great! I had the same idea for my contest car. But I gave it up cause of I couldn't find a solution for the Shelby rear lights.
The taillights, made from remnants of a car 1 / 1
Grinding up the measure and then insert them (put) in a small piece of who had done a rectangular hole.Rodweiler hat geschrieben:
You invested a lot of work. New rear view mirrior. New side skirts, enlarged wheel arches. The exhaust and the gas cap are at the right place. Added "Eleanor" scoop. And of course the new front and paint job.
Detrás del texto pongo las imágenes que tengo disponibles de este coche que hice en el 2005Behind the text put the images I have available for this car that I made in 2005Rodweiler hat geschrieben:
Some questions from "curious" Rod -
: Did you use decals for the black stripes or did you paint them? The body - is it lowered? The wheels - where do they come from? FLY Lola T70 (always a good choice)? The additional lights - did you take them from a donor car, are they scratchbuilt or aftermarket parts? The grill insert - taken from another Mustang or scratchbuilt? What about the rear lights -
? Last and least - would you post more pictures?
-La luces traseras son restos originales de un coche 1:1 y modelados.- The stripes are painted, but the side of faldondes (which are not at all the images) are calcas.
- In adapting the wheels touched the body of T70. I had to modify the original chassis and seems a bit low, but actually rises slightly. In addition, the amendment was lowering the anchor of the wheels on the chassis. I also had to remove the base of the tray.
- The main Lighthouses are those of the original car. The plants are a scrapping Cartronic. The small white lights of the two sides are to claw support of the central headlamps. The blues are modeled from a blue translucent plastic, specifically an account or trinket of a necklace of a little girl.
- The grille of plasticard lamins are very sharp.
- The original taillights are remnants of a car 1:1 and modelled.Rodweiler hat geschrieben:
Your "Eleanor" is an impressive work. I've seen some good cars from Spain created with a lot of craftsmanship. This is one of it. My compliments. And I call ourselves lucky. If you had shared our contest your model could have been the winner - :top .
Kind regards - Michael aka Rod
Muchas Gracias port tus elogios.,
Thank you for your compliments.
