Great Work! :klatschen

Is there any chance that we can see some sort of "how to do it" in step by step pictures?

Regards
Homer

No.
I explain myself: I have done it this summer, on holidays in a nice beach of the south of Spain. I have take any picture.
Most textures (skin, leather, clothes...) are just 3 colors: one for de base color, one for the shadows and another one for the ligths.
I always start with the base color, then the shadows mixing the base color with the shadow color (in three or four steps, more shadow every step) and very very watered to obtain transparent mix. Then, with few painting in the brush, you paint the figure. Then the same thing with ligths.
Most colors are from CITADEL (Warhammer) and some Model Color from Vallejo. They mix well.

Perhaps I'll restart with another driver like this one (I don't like the body very much) and I'll try to make some pictures and descriptions.... but the only way to obtain results is to paint, and paint, and paint...

Today the term of presentation to a miniatures painting aid finished, so I had to finish it quickly because I haven't touched it since last pictures.
That's the result.

Hello, Andres!

I think, you were not lazy in your summer holidays.....

You don´t want to tell us, this is 1:32? Looks like 1:18! ;-)

No, its really a wonderful paintjob! Congratulations!! Some time ago, I wanted to learn this to, but I had no time...

How much time did it take, to paint the figure in this way? For what car did you make this driver? Please tell us, and if the works on this car is going on: give us more pics!!

Greetings,
Taffy

Thank you all for your comments.

I really don't know but.... but I either don't want to know it
Between 20 and 25 hours, but it's my first serious one. I think it can be done in 10-15 hours more or less.

It wasn't for any car in particular, it was for the painting aid firstly.
This is the reason by which the suit is so modern for that head... They are totally anachronistic. But I wanted to do something with certain complication.
Perhaps it's a good head for the Lancia D-50 (still in rest), but the body must be for something more modern. Really don't know.

Thank's again. I'll try to go on showing the few things I do. scr

Hi Andres,

very impressive Work! :klatschen

I think, nobody would have realized the anachronistic head, if you haven't mentioned it.

Hello everybody.

Excuse me for writing so little here, but it really makes me very hard to read you in German and to write in English (Google translate is really very, very bad).

I present to you the figure I'm painting these days. It is a metallic one from FLY , but I have cloned it in resin.

First a photo of the real size (54mm, at least on my screen)

And these ones with more detail:

I am impressed. I am impressed.
I have a hard time seeing things that small, much less painting them in detail. You must be very happy in life to have such a steady hand.
Bravo, beautiful work.
