Well, all cars are here, the box is opened and the first test laps on the plastic track have been
run.After these first tests I decided to run all cars with 12 volts.
The fastest cars are Datto's Camaro and his Mercedes.
The slowest one on the straights is my Camaro.
Best handling in the curves is my Camaro, too. A nice contradiction...
But the funniest thing is the really good handling of Lloyd's cars. Of course, since the track has magnetic rails and the H0 race motors Lloyd uses have a really good magnetic traction.
The worst handling has - as to be expected - Wolfgang's Porsche. Narrow chassis, high c.o.g.,
biggest clearance, biggest wheels. But really fun to drive - a nice challenge !
The race will be run somewhen next week. I had to change my software and lapcounting hardware because the old one went on strike and apart from the hobby there is a job lurking....

I want to make up a comprising tech sheet at the end.
May I remove the bodies, to check the weights of the components ( chassis and body) separately ?
