Hi guys!

As always we apologize, because we don´t speak German.

We would like to show you the adaptation of a Sauber C9 Mercedes of 24 hours Le Mans, drived in 1989 for J.Mass, S.Dickens and M.Reuter, with Tecno Slot 1/43 Chassis. In this case with some innovations....

We hope you enjoy with that,

nice conversion!
did you use the diecast rims with SCX compact Porsche tires? what about the missing center rib? any influence in driving? did you glue the tires to the rims?
are the front tires touching the track?

:danke Peter,

Yes I use the rims from the diecast, no problem about center rib.....Yes I glue the tires to the rims, because are from the diecast and are flat...The front tires are also from the diecast and touch the track...

Best regards,
Francesc

Why you get the heavy DieCast and not the Heller Plastic Karo? and then the Car looks like an Off Roader, it must deeper on the Road.

Because we have more range of cars....it's not for racing...agree with you should be more deeper....but finally on the track going well...

WHAT ARE THE INNOVATIONS ?????

I do not think that it is a good idea to use metal bodies for slotcars.
Top - heavy models don´t work well. Even if not for racing

The front tires on your model are wider than the rear ones. This is by no means correct.

And the gap between tires and wheelarches is way too big.

Always keep in mind : Only good presentations help with selling.

This presentation is not good.

Why not use a metal bodies in slot? we have a lot of bodies to choose.....and as you can see in the video it runs acceptably

The innovations are that we use all the wheels from the diecast and the "Velcro" to put/remove the chassis (see video)

This is not an innovation but a step backwards because racecars NEVER have wider front wheels than rears. Even less slotcars.

Pensamiento bueno !

Okay okay, Francesco, paz....Eso no es para todo el mundo.

So sois "slotcar drivers", no "slotracers"....

El origen de palabra "slotracing" es "slot" y "racing" - cierto ? :D

Cordiales saludos,

Roland

Veo que hablas muy bien Español :clap2 Seguro que mucho mejor que mi Alemán :D

In my case I am more "Slotcar Collector" and "Slotcar dirver".... but also I make some races....the therm "Race" is also very large, because you can make races of for example slow cars (Citroen 2CV, etc...) in my opinion the important thing is that all the participants should have the same conditions....you can make a race of heavy slot cars but same cars for everybody....
and don't forget that the beginning of this hobby was with metal cars.....

Our chassis is designed to adapt different kind of cars, vans, etc... as you know the range is very big....and if you want to make a Van races...why not?

Mit freundlichen Grüben (From Google translator) :D
