Hello all,
as I mentioned last year, I am intending to run a 1/43 rally proxy on my 'Little Monte' rally track and possibly other venues some time this year. For anyone who has not seen the track, here are a couple of photos taken some time ago, I will take some new ones soon:
As can be seen from the photos, this is a very twisty track that can be very difficult to drive unless the cars are suited to it. Having said that, my test cars were an Artin Porsche and a Carrera GO Ford Focus fitted with a swivel guide. But, now that the track is in good running order, I am having to do a lot of testing/playing/ adjusting and assessing to find out which types of car works best. (Well, someone had to do it! lol)
At this stage it is looking as though standard/stock Carrera GO or Artin type chassis with pin guide and the tyres/tires they came with, may well be as good as anything fancy that I have tried so far!
I will be posting regular updates as to how the testing is going, and will set a date when I am satisfied with the results.
Regards, Lloyd
