I neither like the Ford very much. It's just to show that the same teardrop model can be as well a vintage one than a modern one, just changing the libery. I have seen lots of pictures with VW Beetle.... really very nice.
This Teardrop trailer is a 4'wide x 4'high x 10'long (more or less 1,2 x 1,2 x 3,0 meters) from a real blueprint. It's just a first try. I want to change three details before making the definitive mould.
The idea is to make a little colection of different detailed models (smaller ones, wood ones, modern ones...).
Then, if people is interested, sell a complete resin kit (body, chasis, wheels, barrel, front box, curtains...) or a "prepainted" one or a "Ready to run" one.
Camping trailers like this one can be used as a very good decoration of the track! The trailer fits well with classic cars. Iwould like to see you continuing with other types of trailers (especially with classic ones..).
of course you have to make a version with split window.....
My Favorite would be an Airstream Trailer...
Hi Homer,
The split window version is really easy to do from the first one I have made.
The Airstream is wonderfull. Not easy to do, nor a teardrop, but wonderfull. I'll think about it.
