it is the first time that I write on the blog, I apologise if I use the topic Scratchbuilt slotcars and I introduce myself: I am italian, my name is Franco, I apologize for not speaking german. I registered on this blog because is very very interesting, I saw a very nice scratch built and incredible solutions about the slot cars. I would like to show you some my scratch, but I don't understand how I can load the photos in the blog.

Hi Franco,

when you write a text you see the various boxes on top of the text input screen.
There is one box "Img".
Click it and in there will appear the BBCode-tag [img] [/img] in your text.
You see the blinking cursor between the two bracketed "img".

You still need a picture host to store you pictures there first - Photobucket, Upload or whatsoever.
Open the picture you are going to show here in your host, copy and paste the URL of the picture between the two "img" - tags.
Repeat the process for each picture.

Great car Franco, and I like the progress of your work. However - and don't get me wrong - why did you pick the Evolution Slot 02 as a basis? I'm asking because unfortunately it is the early 02-version until 1973. Not only did it have the round tail lights (which is an quite an easy fix to the squared ones), but also a different front grill. It consistes of two parts (left and right) plus the BMW "kidney" in the center as a stand alone part. During the face lift in 73 the 02 got a different one-piece grill and a lower kidney which is exactly the version the Schnitzer-Group 5-car had. In case you would do another one, maybe the Carrera Evo-2002 could be used representing the correct "after face lift" car.

But again: Just my 2 cents - still great work I whish I had this car in 1:32

Thank you for sharing your nice projects with us. I found some more interesting cars on miarroba.com in your gallery.
Personally I like the Rodenstock version of this car very much. It has been also on my ToDo list up to now. Racer Sideways has announced this livery these days. It will be intersting if Racer will provide us a model which looks better than their last cars. I am looking forward to fotos of the finshed car. Where do you get the decals from?

To Ulli: you are right, the BMW 2002 ti Evolution Slot is the version 1973, but I had available this resin body and I tried to make the Rodenstock version and I thank you for your suggestions.
To tomato_007:thanks, as I wrote the 2002 is a car that I like especially in race versions Rodenstock, Europa Mobel, Fischer Technik, Atomic Sky, Jagermeister and Warsteiner. The decals of the others BMW, except Jagermeister, I drew them by myself. I will look the site abload.de to present future photos.

Even If cars like this are not my favourites (you might have seen, that I almost like cars with open wheels), your BMW looks great. A very good conversion!
I´ll follow this thread, because I´m interested to see the finish of this car.
