Here is a recent build. This is a George Turner model and has the identity of the winning car driven Bernd Rosemeyer at the 1937 Eifelrennen. This is now my favourite car to race.



This car uses slot it running gear and a Pioneer 21K motor. The wheels of course are made by myself, the tyres are urethane copies of the Scalextric Ferrari 375 at the front, and urethane copies of the Airfix Auto Union tyre at the rear.



I believe this model truly captures the spirit of the original car.

Claus, I regret that I have now stopped making all of the wheels. The cost of buying the parts is now greater than the selling price!

Here is another picture of the C type.



There was plenty of space for a full interior, so the seat and driver were modified to give a full height figure.

I have several Auto Unions to build, here is a clue to the identity of the car I am building now.

What a lost. To know that you had stopped production of your fine spoke wheels now makes me sad.
These wheels are really high quality craftmanship. I personally would pay some euros more because there
is no alternative on the market but i can imagine also that others don´t.
If there remain some 15``size ones ( for GT racing cars of the fifties ) in stock let me know via -pn-. Thanks !
