Here is the Healey thread with a correct title. I do not think I can delete the incorrectly titled thread?

For a couple of years I have on occasion done a little work on a favourite project, the Austin Healey 100S.

This car was made for a short period of time in 1955, and was a racing version of the standard Austin Healey 100.

The chassis was lighter and stronger, the engine almost all new, the body in an aluminium/magnesium alloy.

To the best of my knowledge, this car has not been modelled before. Is there an interest in such a car? Some enthusiasm has already been shown. What interest on this Forum?

Since the last picture was shown on this Forum, some progress has been made. I do not expect to make this a perfect model, but it will be the best I can do.

There seems to be plenty of interest so I am sure the project will go ahead. If it seems likely that more than 20 cars will be sold, then I will pay to have the bodies made, which I hope will result in a better casting. At present there are about 15 cars wanted.

The cars could be supplied in many forms, thus:

Complete RTR.

Painted body kit. All parts to make a complete body.

Unpainted body kit. All parts to make a complete body.

Body shell and radiator grille only.

I cannot give prices until the parts have been made. I hope that bodyshell and radiator grille will be no more than £15. Full body kits would require me to have decals made which is another expense. I also feel that proper interior detail should be available.
