Hi guys. While i'm waiting for the last parts of the zagato jig-saw, I thought i'd take a break from proper scratch building and relax with a kit build. The model in question is an Ocar resin kit, which I believe is a copy of a Proto Slot Kit from a couple of years ago. The body casting is quite good with the detail being very crisp making the picking out pretty straight foreward. The only thing that let it down was the glazing which was downright awful. So not to spoil the whole thing, I made up patterns for new vac formed glazing.Finished in Ford Forest Green and with a few photo etched details added along with Bare Metal Foil on hinges, number plate lamp etc. I think it has turned out very well. I'm very pleased with the result. I hope you like it.

Did you make the exhaust?

Hi Monk. Yes I made the exhausts as the ones in the kit were missing. The pipes are aluminium tube and the silencers are styrene. I'm not sure what colour the whole system should be. Maybe white, maybe all silver. So until I can find out for sure, i'll leave them as they are.
