Just got this in the mail from Germany. It's a lovely Lola T70 slot body kit made by Karl Heinz Homberg. Karl is known for quality. The kit's he produces are amazing. I'm going to do a step by step on this kit showing some techniques and secrets. It will be very detailed so bare with me over time. Yes, time. This will take some time but I will update has I go along. If you find there are better idea's on how to do some of what I show then please post these ideas. In the end you should have a good idea on how I paint my cars and get a smooth mirror finish. Getting back to the quality of the kit. Everything fits real well and the quality of the casting is beautiful. This helps and saves time with the prep work. I'm really looking forward to doing this car and I hope you enjoy the step by step and the end result.

yes that's really a great kit. I own one, too. But I decided to do the 1970 Le Mans-Version. Decals are from Berengar von Haugwitz.

Before the details. Should be finished here soon with this T70. There a lot to clean up but I've enjoyed building this car.

I went with a simple look rather than the historical version. I will do the historical version next. I just wanted to see the Lola without the distractions. Amazing lines and a beautiful car.
